Can someone please tell me how to catch Crappie and when? I had heard that Crappie "bite" in cold weather. Is this true and are they biting now?

crappie due bite in cold weather but you have to know the best days and times consult your farmers almanac and try using neon colored crappie jigs or minnows fish approximently 3 to 4 feet deep at first then adjust deepth till you get a hit
